In what will be the first significant housing developments to emerge since the end of the recession Selbourne Homes have announced the submission of 2 planning applications.

On High Street Kingswinford a former transport yard will be transformed into a development of 11no two, three and four bedroom semi-detached and detached houses. In an enviable location immediately adjacent to the conservation area it is hoped work will start in the autumn with the first homes ready for occupation in early 2010.

Meanwhile a planning application has also been submitted for the construction of 14no two and three bedroom houses in a walled courtyard close to Stourbridge Town Centre. The properties will benefit from Gas central heating and Selbourne’s usual high specification. Ideal for first time buyers or downsizers and young families alike the development is sure to interest Black Country homebuyers searching for cutting edge style at down-to-earth prices
